The Archbishop stresses the persistence of the Cyprus people in their fight for freedom

Countless people gathered for the liturgy of the Archbishop Mr. Makarios in Faneromeni church. People deluged the church chanting patriotic marches in favour of the Unification with mother Greece. After the doxology, the Archbishop's speech was more than inspiring. He saluted the persistence of the Cyprus people and their endearment in the fight for freedom and unification. He condemned the British strategy and said that the "constitutional attack" will not pass. Cypriot people said must stay united, strong and with collaboration the Unification with Mother Greece will be successful.
