Abstract
Three Greek Cypriots gathered illegal on the 18 of December in Ipirou and Omirou plaza in order to protest against the UN decision for the Cyprus issue. One of them attacked a Greek Cypriot policeman. After the arrest, two of the offenders were sentenced by the General Court into imprisonment, for blustery and breach of peace, four and three months respectively. The third offender was fined 10 pounds and bail at 50 pounds for two years. Moreover, a similar trial is on the go in the General Court, but this time the number of the offenders are 29 and are mostly students.
