After the United Nations decision for the Cyprus issue, Mr. Z. Rossides announced that now the Cyprus issue became definitive an international problem and that the only solution is the self-determination of the island. Moreover, if the intended meeting of the Archbishop with the Governor moves in the context of self-determination will be a positive step to a solution.
On the other hand, the British press see things on a different scope. On an article of his, Collin Reed of the "Daily Telegraph", supports that only if Cypriots came to the negotiating table for the insertion of Constitution, will see a future solution. Apart from that, the voices for the unification with Greece, says, are starting to fade out and even if it happens the communists of Cyprus wont be very happy with General Papagos in power.
