Τούρκος γιατρός εξέφρασε την λύπη του γιατί η δήλωση του παρερμηνεύτηκε. Δεν εννοούσε, δήλωσε, ότι οι Έλληνες γιατροί στερούνται εκπαίδευσης και επαγγελματισμού. Εννοούσε ότι έπρεπε να χτιστούν Κυβερνητικά νοσοκομεία με τουρκικό προσωπικό.
A Turkish doctor expressed his sorrow for being misunderstood. He did not mean, he stated, that the Greek doctors lack professionalism and education. He meant that more Government hospitals should be built and more Turkish staff to be employed.
