Εξαιτίας των πολλών δολοφονιών οι οποίοι έλαβαν χώρα ανάγκασαν τον Μακάριο να τις καταδικάσει έντονα. Επίσης, πιστεύει ότι οι φόνοι γίνονται από οργανωμένες ομάδες.
Due to the multiple killings that took place, Makarios was forced to condemn those fiercely. He laso believes that those were committed by organized groups.
