Stealthily importation of explosives and weapons in Cyprus failed
Abstract
An attempt to import illicitly, explosives and weapons to Cyprus through the foreland of Akamas was unsuccesfull. British air patrol spotted the illegal ship on the West Coast of Cyprus. Police and military forces intercepted the Greek ship on Chlorakas coast, arrested its crew and confiscated its cargo. Grenades, land mines, dynamites and weapons were inside the cargo shipment. Police arrested another eight residents of Chlorakas village for interogations.
