Abstract
The article concerns the partition of Nicosia. It claims that following the truce declared by Dhigenis, peace and order will be reinstated, which renders the partition of Nicosia unnecessary. It also emphasises the economic consequences of the partition for Greek Cypriot shop owners, as well as the rest of the population of the city. The title insinuates that the paritition is about to be lifted, but this issue is vaguely treated in the article.
