Turkish Cypriots while attending the funeral of another Turkish Cypriot policeman, started a riot against the oxygen factory that was near the the cemetery. At first they attacked the drivers and started beating them, after when an employee opened the gate so the drivers can pull through, they rushed inside the premises and started pelting the factory.
